Recently Luton Airport took delivery of their Flailbot. This has been purchased to maintain the grass cut height on steep banks surrounding the runways at Luton.
The Flailbot was chosen over competitive machines for its build quality, and innovative safety features; automatic closing front hood, automatic track tensioning, capability to work on 55 degree slopes and banks, even with the track fully retracted.
Flailbot also boasts the highest horse power and torque in the 40hp range of machines in the market, and delivering the power at significantly lower engine RPM reduces fuel usage/costs and vibration levels, resulting in greater reliability.
